O.K. all you Pablo Picassos, here is your chance to let the world see your masterpieces. You too can be a part of this Volcom Art Revolution by simply following the instructions below. Your art could be chosen for display on Volcom's website or even for a future Volcom tee shirt design! Long live the arts!

DIRECTIONS

Don’t be dumb. Make sure to follow all the directions. If you take artistic liberty here and your artwork does not meet all of the requirements, then we cannot post your work, so pay attention!

REQUIREMENTS

You will need to make 2 images; a 90x90 pixel thumbnail, and a 400x400 pixel image.
Your images cannot exceed 150kb in size.
Only .GIF and .JPG files will be accepted.
All images need to be at 72 DPI resolution.
All images must be in RGB mode.

CMYK is not made for websites
If you are using photoshop, you can change the mode under the image tab: image/mode/RGB

Do not use spaces between words or special characters when naming your files

sample: (I’m a dumb ass.tif) will not work
(imagenius.jpg) will work
special characters: :”?><+_)(*&^%$#@!~;’/ will not work

Do not name your files “volcom”, “thumb”, or “thumbnail”. We get a lot of these and we cannot post them. Go ahead and give your artwork a name. Be creative.

FINE PRINT: NO DEATH, DESTRUCTION, SLANDERING, MALICIOUS, OR SEXUAL CONTENT WILL BE ACCEPTED

INSTRUCTIONS

Fill out your contact information completely. Make sure you include your email address.
Click “browse” (on a PC) or “choose file” (on a mac) to select your 1^st image, the thumbnail, off of your hard drive. Find your image and click open.
Do the same thing as step 2 for your large image.
Click the submit button, and you are done!

MORE FINE PRINT: IT IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE VOLCOM ART DEPARTMENT AS TO WHAT GETS POSTED AND WHAT DOES NOT. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT WE WILL POST YOUR WORK IF YOU FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS PROPERLY.
