2008 DAMN AM FINAL RESULTS, PHOTOS AND VIDEO!

The 2008 Damn Am wrapped up this past weekend here at the Volcom Facility in
Costa Mesa California. David Loy came out swinging on his final run and took
1st place to become a repeat winner here in front of his home crowd. At this
year's event, we made a real effort to be as green as possible, starting
with Frank Scura bringing in ASEC's Sol Ride, a school bus that runs off
solar power and provided enough energy to run the entire contest off of. All
the power for the sound system, webcast system and computers ran straight
off the bus. Along with that, we had bio-degradable cups, a filtered water
system to reduce on plastic bottle use, and recycle bins all over the
premises.
