ELECTRIC'S ROCK THE SHOP AT VOLCOM SANTA BARBARA WITH VALIENT THORR

This past Sunday, 10/26, we achieved yet another event of historic proportions down at the Volcom Santa Barbara store.
This was our first ever Rock The Shop event held at a Volcom store, the first mosh pit ever in a Volcom Store, and the first
time that Valient Thorr has ever played at a Volcom store. The premise of Rock The Shop is to celebrate the new Electric
apparel and accessories recently hitting our sales floor. Of course, no Rock The Shop would be complete without a band
that truly knows how to rock!
At 4:30pm, Valient Thorr took the stage in the back of the store and proceeded to put on an out-of-this-world
performance that can only be described as.....wow. This show was complete with crowd surfing, guitarists jumping off of
amps, and some serious slamming in the front row. It's a cliche that you may have heard before about other bands, but
this band is TRULY THE BEST LIVE BAND IN THE WORLD! Just ask anyone who was there. These guys are the real deal and
were even spotted shaking hands with fans and kissing babies after the show. Before, during, and after the performance
the audience was treated to custom screened hats compliments of Electric as well as a few extra goodies. Even the cops
that showed up commented on how crazy we were for throwing an event of this magnitude inside a store on State Street.
Not the first time we've heard that one.
