The 2012 VQS Volcomania World Championships presented by Muscle Milk has come to a close and what an amazing event it was! This year�s event had epic matches that led to three days of beating, bashing, breaking and bruising! After the broken tables and chairs were cleared from the ring, the winners walked away with their Championship belts in hands and their share of the $30,000 prize purse, while the other wrestlers walked away with broken bones and ring rash from the Battle Royal! Thanks to all the competitors and staff that made this happen, check out all the highlights from the Royal Rumble below and we will see you next year!

For this second installment of 'Costa Rica Journeys' we highlight Lyn-z Adams Hawkins Pastrana and the journey from her perspective. For those that may not know Lyn-z and her wild life she lives, this edit gives a small glimpse into the amazing athlete and person she is. Lyn-z talks about what she has coming up, life and most importantly why she loves doing what she does. Not many eyes see Lyn-z dolled up in a bikini and not in her jean cut offs skating a mega ramp or in her moto gear racing around a racetrack.... these photos get a sneak peak into the other side of Lyn-z!

Pedro Barros and Rune Glifberg went 1st and 2nd place for the 2nd year running at the 2012 Protec Pool Party on Saturday evening. The event was packed, with a skateboarding's royalty and a capacity crowd to cheer them on. Pedro and Rune shut the bowl down throughout a heavy finals session and came out on top. Volcomgratulations to both!

CONGRATULATIONS COCO FOR 2ND PLACE BRAZIL WCT FINISH!

Huge congratulations to Miss Coco Ho for her 2nd place podium finish at the Billabong Rio Pro WCT event. The final heat between Sally Fitzgibbons and Coco couldn't have been more of a climatic finish. Coco was in the lead for the entire heat, Sally needed a 7.85 or better to move into the first place spot and within the last minute of the event she got the wave she needed. The sounding buzzer went off leaving Coco with a heat score of 14.03 and Sally with a winning total of 14.10. So close!

Coco naturally was slightly dissapointed as she wanted to take the win but was all smiles as she placed her highest finish of the year and grounded her position for next year's tour qualification. Great work Coco... Congratulations! Now, it's time to go party Rio style!! Next stop for the girl's is to France for the 6* Swatch Girls Pro.

Costa Rica. One could look up on Wikipedia and find that Costa Rica is a country in Central America bordered by Panama and Nicaragua, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. A country with almost 20,000 square miles of land mass and just over 4 million people. We want to show you what WE did in Costa Rica... Last Fall we took our top Volcom team riders from surf, skate and snow to the beautiful land of Costa Rica to surf, explore, eat, laugh, have fun and zen out in this amazing country. Coco Ho, Elena Hight, Quincy Davis, Lyn-z Adams Hawkins Pastrana and Claire Bevilacqua spent 8 days in the country of monkeys and dolphins which turned into a 5-part web series depicting their journey! Let the fun begin....

Volcom gathered some friends in its workshop to pay homage to the psychedelic feline stylings of Anthony Ausgang Thurs May 3, 2012!

Ausgang has been famously credited as being �the world�s most hallucinatory low brow cat painter�. Needless to say, he was at his very best and gave many otherwise-outsiders an inside look into the corners of his creativity.

Things got underway shortly after 8pm with civilized discourse and adult beverages. The socializing grew more liberal as the night wore on. A live performance from Newport Beach�s �Indian Burn� sandwiched between the eclectic aural sensations of Richie Olivares kept the party going well into the early hours of Friday!

Thanks to Indian Burn and Richie Olivares for providing the soundtrack and to Imperial for all the free beer!

To that end, Volcom set out to peel back the layers and dig out the soul and charisma of the champion. We traveled the nation over, meeting family, friends, industry members and a hero to discover the real RV. What we found, well, we'll let the film and Ryan do the talking.

MEET THE CHAMP: VILLOPOTO LAS VEGAS STORE SIGNING

After clinching Back 2 Back AMA Supercross championships Ryan Villopoto was sidelined by a fluke knee injury late in the season. The champ visited the Volcom store in Las Vegas before the Supercross finals and was in great spirits, signing autographs and talking to the fans about the past season and his future plans.

The line started building 2 hours prior to the champs arrival.

Everyone was waiting for the champ to arrive.

The line into the store kept getting longer but RV said he would stay and sign for every fan.

Limited edition Villopoto championship items were up for grabs.

The custom hats were made on the spot.

The new RV sticker.

Villopoto showed up and signing got under way early!!

Fans had a choice to pick out which hat they wanted to have signed.

Villopoto is one of the most polite human beings on the planet and fans were treated to a unique experience.

Once inside the line continued through the store - a Disneyland type feel but unlike Splash Mountain this worth the wait.

If you were quick enough you could get a photo with Villopoto.

The Vegas store staff caught this guy stealing! but he got away. Some say he goes by the name Danny? if anyone can help.

This kid was a huge fan and won himself a set of the Volcom / Thor Co-Lab riding gear.

Villopoto stayed to the bitter end, much to the fans delite.

A limited edition run of championship tee shirts were available only at the Las Vegas Volcom store.

The champ was in the house.

The signed Villopoto jersey that was up for grabs in the raffle.
