He started his rookie season as a pro on board the Yamaha Star Racing team. Darryn had some top 5 finishes on the SX east series and he finished the season inside the top 10 overall.

Darryn also had a few good finishes during the outdoor season. He's not afraid to say that he was not happy with his bike or team in 2009. We will just have to wait and see where Durham ends up for 2010.

Durham is a natural talent and has a creative approach to riding. When not testing or training you can find him in the hills free riding and busting over big gaps. Look for big things to come out of this kid down the road.

Darryn has also recieved the AMA Horizon Award as an amateur!
