It was an early Sunday morning, when first skaters arrived to Tallinn Lauluvaljak skatepark to give the best performance, but the conditions were far from perfect. Heavy rain, huge, gray cloud (the one you can’t see the beginning or ending) and no sun.
 Skating in the rain!
After a couple of hours a bus from Latvia came with more participants and the park started to fill with impatient skaters. It was still raining, but we didn’t lose our optimism – after registration our grill masters took care about good mood in stomachs, DJ made our spirit rock and host Eddy gingered up the atmosphere.
We are sitting in the rain and thinking – how long should we sit like this? Oh, damn it all, let’s make the competition anyways! So, we cleaned up the skatepark as good as we could and the best show ever seen in this season started! It seemed that waiting for better condition made guys absolutely gonzo! Skaters gone wild in showing the best tricks they’ve got, especially Estonian Kristjan Prik surprised everyone with a perfect kickflip melon.
Contest had almost 70 entries from Latvia and Estonia and from 6 best guys 5 are Estonians and one Latvian. By the end of the day, the sun finally came out and the final heat for 16+ was marvelous! Even when the time limit was over, skaters continued the show and got a very loud and positive feedback from viewers.
